Maji Mazuri 2021 ICT Training Centre Highlights

Maji Mazuri school of ICT continues to empower youth from Mathare slums with ICT skills to connect with the job market. 75 youth graduated with ICT skills from our training Centre in August 2021. 30 of them graduated with a diploma in programming and graphics design while 45 of them graduated with certificates in basic computer skills. 25 youth out of 45 who graduated with certificate in basic computer skills registered to proceed with the training up to the diploma level and they are now in their second final semester looking forward to completing their training in
May 2022.

Our diploma graduates had a successful transition to the job market after their graduation in August. 80% of them have already been employed in different companies including government institutions. This is a great motivation to the current students and other young people in the community.

Our ICT training Centre continues to receive a huge number of youth every year who would like to join the training but due to the limited number of computer machines, we are not able to admit them.
